How do we integrate movements into our everyday life?
I will also have a deep orientation towards opening and strengthening the hips and creating strength and flexibility in the lower back. Sitting on the floor will be the orientation of the practice this month. Opening our bodies to sit, and finding time and ways to use this ability in our everyday lives.
The movements are not just about building strength, flexibility, and resilience, but they are also an amazing way to regulate your nervous system. Yoga can help you develop a greater awareness of your body and how you move. By tuning into the sensations you feel during each movement, you can become more attuned to the signals your body sends and you can respond more effectively to your physical and emotional needs.
In this way, the practice of 20min Yoga with Ciara can support you in developing a more somatic relationship to movement, one that is rooted in your bodily experience and understanding of yourself. By connecting with your body in this way, you can deepen your capacity for self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-compassion, all of which can support your overall well-being.

You will see results from the routine and discipline. A month is a long time, some days you will power through the class, some days you will be tired and some days you won’t feel like it at all. These are the most important days, even if you join the class and lay on your mat and breath you will still reap the benefits of showing up and being part of a community achieving a common goal.
