A Celebration of Light, Rhythm & the Cycle of the Year

Hello Wonderful Community,

After the adventure of Balance Point, we now move toward bright and expansive movements the will be  SOLAR—a 21-day yoga journey June 2025 inspired by the peak of the solar cycle and the long light of summer days.

This journey is a celebration of space, brightness, warmth, and clarity—and of the powerful relationship we have with the sun that nourishes and sustains life. As we move toward the Summer Solstice on June 21st, the brightest day of the year, we’ll align with that light in our own bodies. Think of this month as a wave: rising, cresting, flowing. We’ll move together as we co-create a series of sequences that honour the solar rhythm.

Each day’s 20-minute practice will contribute to a larger movement story—a fluid dance of strength, brightness, breath, and joy. By the end, we will have a full solar-inspired flow that emerged slowly, organically, through our shared rhythm in community.

And because this month is about honouring light—your light, the sun’s light, the light between us—I’m including a small optional ritual: a 2-minute sunrise movement. A standing, breath-infused gesture you can do the moment you first see the sun each day. Like a mini sun salutation—but simpler, more intuitive. Just a way to pause and say: thank you, sunshine. I see you. I feel you. I welcome you.

SOLAR is  about soaking up the fullness of your aliveness. Let this journey be a time to rise, glow, shine, and celebrate the epic brightness of being.

My 20 minute morning yoga practice is the best way to start my day. I roll out of bed, sleepily light a candle and start to wake up my body with Ciara's instructions which are so descriptive and easy to follow.
