Embarking on September’s Yoga Journey: STRENGTH

I am so delighted to start STRENGTH tomorrow! it will be a transformative journey this September.

We will be diving into a 28-day yoga experience centred around STRENGTH.

Have a belt, or a scarf and 2 tins or 0.5kg weights.

Every Yoga Journey we have consciously turn towards a unique facet of movement or wellness intention, ensuring we are nurturing our bodies and spirits in a holistic manner. This month, we’re cultivating resilience and power, both within and without, inspired by the following intentions:

🧘🏽‍♀️ Weights: Using the gentle resistance of weights, we’ll learn to honour our boundaries and respect our body’s messages. It’s not just about physical strength but creating a space where we feel held and supported.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Connection: Through mindful presence, we’ll form a communication with our inner selves, feeling the interconnectedness of our body, mind, and spirit. Tap into your body’s wisdom. Feel every sensation, every pulse, every beat. It’s about syncing up with yourself.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Finding your ground: In a world that often feels chaotic, this is our opportunity to root ourselves, creating a foundation from which we can grow.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Finding your power: Rediscover the gentle might that resides within, and let’s create a space where we can harness it without fear or hesitation.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Feeling good in your body:  It’s YOUR body. Celebrate it. Move with joy, dance with abandon, stretch with gratitude. Embrace every sensation as an opportunity to connect deeply with the present moment.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Feedback from weights: Listening to our body is an art. By using weights, we’ll lean into the feedback, understanding the subtle nuances and whispers of our being. Listen to what those weights are telling you, they’re a tool to connect deeper with yourself.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Cultivating joy in strong steady movements: In every motion, there’s a story. Let’s narrate tales of joy, resilience, and steadfastness. Find happiness in the journey, the movement, the breath.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Peak pose in every class: A moment of culmination, a space to pause and reflect on our journey and honour our progress. We will dig deep and get to meet how we manage intensity, and healthy stress and how to rise and meet it in a wholesome and healthy way.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Longer holds in each pose: By staying longer, we are giving ourselves the permission to truly feel, process, and release. Let’s savour each posture, deepen into it, absorb all its juicy benefits.

Every day, I’llbe sharing a 20-minute live stream on Youtube and Facebook. You can join daily, once a week, or even spontaneously. Every moment you choose to show up, you gift yourself a chance at deeper physical, mental, and inner harmony. I hope to see many of you there, holding space for each other and embarking on this journey of STRENGTH together.
