Deep Winter Newsletter from Naduir
Hello from Naduir!
As we settle into the deep winter, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible things happening here and share the warmth of our community with you.
Gift Vouchers Available
Looking for the perfect gift this season? Why not give the gift of wellness! We offer massage, craniosacral therapy, Wim Hof Method, and general Naduir gift vouchers—perfect for your loved ones this Christmas. Small businesses like ours are so grateful for your support during the holiday season.
Winter Wellness Ivy Honey & Summer Honey
Our ivy honey, mixed with propolis, is now available! This powerful honey is perfect for boosting your immune system during the colder months. Priced at €15 due to the effort involved in making it, it’s worth every drop. Summer honey is also available at €10.
Glimmer Yoga Journey
My December yoga practice, Glimmer, is going strong! It’s all about finding those glimmers of light, cultivating joy, and connecting with wellness. The new in-person yoga term starts mid-January. Some classes are full, but there’s still space! Contact me to learn more about yoga sessions in Knocknacarra.
Farm & Garden Update
The farm has had a wild year—frost took out the lettuces, but our kale, cabbages, and winter veggies are thriving. Over autumn, we were busy pickling, making chutneys, and ketchup—now our winter staples! I’m eating pickled beetroot every day, and it’s amazing.
Animal News
Our puppies are almost two years old! Bear is now a therapy dog at Spiddle Nursing Home, Eli is devoted and sweet, and Leah is wild and needy. Our cat continues to be the king of the land, keeping the rodent population in check.
Fox Drama Continues
Me and the fox, oh yes. The battle continues—he keeps sneaking into the chicken coop despite my best efforts! There’s no malice, just an intelligent, wild creature trying to survive. I admire him, but he’s definitely keeping me on my toes! On the snow days, I even saw that he found a way to visit the ducks despite the electric fence!
New Clinics at Naduir
We’re thrilled to welcome new therapists: Laoise (homeopathy), Sarah (soul healing), and Body College graduates Ruth and Ann. Our BCST student clinics are also running regularly, offering beautiful support to our community here in Naduir.
Exciting Garden Projects
We’re working on a lean-to down by the garden to store our wood and keep it dry—much needed in this wet weather. The garden continues to thrive despite the elements, and we feel so connected to the land and the work we’re doing.
Looking Ahead
Our next Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training course starts in October, and we already have registrations! There’s an intro day in March and an intro evening in April, so if you’re interested, get in touch! Josef continues his work internationally, teaching craniosacral therapy and spreading this beautiful work.
We feel incredibly blessed for all that we do at Naduir, and we are so grateful for every one of you who supports us. Here’s to a peaceful and rejuvenating winter season, filled with light, love, and growth.
Warmly,
Ciara & Josef & Sinead
The Naduir Team
