What I Learned from 21 Days of INTEGRITY
Somatic insights from the inside out
Over the last 21 days, we explored integrity not as a fixed concept, but as a living, moving relationship with ourselves — moment by moment, breath by breath.
Here’s what we discovered together:
Felt Sense of Integrity
We began simply, with the question: Am I moving from truth?
Rather than chasing an ideal, we dropped into our bodies — letting integrity show up as a felt experience. Small gestures became significant. Micro-movements became mirrors.
Self-Referencing over Performance
Every morning became a soft recalibration: What’s true for me now?
We chose effort based on what felt right internally — not based on what we thought we should be doing. That shift alone was revolutionary.
Containment & Boundaries
We practised holding ourselves, not by bracing, but through intelligent containment.
With floor work and ribs-down awareness, we cultivated grounded presence and structural clarity — the kind of integrity that doesn’t collapse or clamp, but holds with grace.
Midline & Centering
Through bridges, crawling patterns, and leg lifts, we kept returning to the midline.
We drew in before we reached out. Again and again, the cue was: Draw into your deep.
Honesty Through Effort
We let the shape of a movement be guided by alignment with our truth.
Not form, but function. Not the external look, but the internal feel. Can I stay in contact with myself as I do this? became a guiding question.
Shock, Injury & Real-Time Repair
When I slipped on ice near the end of the journey, I used it.
Together, we witnessed how integrity holds even in rupture — how the body contracts and how, with care and attention, it can soften again. We practiced nervous system literacy, repair, and tenderness in action.
Wave Patterns & Full-Body Gestures
Movements evolved into ripples.
No longer about doing a posture, we entered wave logic — pelvis to spine, spine to arms — feeling how a gesture could transmit integrity throughout the whole system.
Play and Surprise in Movement
From “legs-a-go-go” to frog dances, joy and play snuck in.
Because integrity isn’t stiff. It’s alive. Responsive. Full of flavor. Full of giggles.
Foot-to-Hand Reach as a Daily Integrity Check
Touching our foot became a ritual: Can I meet myself here, today?
Sometimes easy, sometimes awkward, always honest.
Layered Listening
We tuned into sensation — and everything beneath it.
Each morning asked: What are you tending to in the deeper you?
We learned to listen beyond muscle tone — into emotion, felt sense, and inner weather.
Rebound & Root
Rather than holding ourselves up, we practiced rising from where we’re rooted.
The sit bones dropped, the spine lengthened, and the gesture of length surged upward. Integrity as transmission — not just tension.
Rest as Revelation
We ended often in stillness, giving space for what wanted to land.
Sometimes that was clarity. Sometimes it was a sigh.
What shifted today? we asked. What’s more clear?
What This Journey Offered
Integrity, as we practiced it, was not a rule to follow.
It was a somatic map — one that led us toward more honest choices, clearer awareness, and a deeper kind of self-trust.
We didn’t “get it right.”
We listened. We adjusted. We practiced again.
And maybe that is integrity.

Next up: AUTHENTIC
We begin again — rooted, resourced, and ready to keep unfolding.
