CULTIVATING AWE
A 21-day yoga journey with Ciara in May 2026. Daily movement and a simple awe practice to support attention, presence, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
The seedlings grow when you water them, and what you give your attention to grows in quiet, steady ways.
This month is an invitation to notice what matters to you and to spend a little more time there.
We will support this through a simple daily awe practice. As you return to it over the 21 days, there may be a soft shift. You might begin to notice a sense of wonder in ordinary moments, or a gentle appreciation for things that were always there but not fully seen. A return to the GLIMMERS of our lives.
There is nothing to add and nothing to amplify.
Just a steady relationship with your life as it is, and a willingness to stay with it.
Over time, that attention has an effect. Things begin to feel more connected, more alive, and in their own way, they begin to flourish.
A ONE-MINUTE AWE PRACTICE
Once a day, pause and find something in nature.
It might be a leaf, a stone, a plant, or a piece of sky, a reflections of light on water, or on a wall. Choose something simple and close to you.
Begin by looking at one small part.
If it is a leaf, notice the detail — the lines, the edges, the texture, the way the light meets it. Stay there for a few breaths.
Then slowly widen your view.
See the whole leaf, then the branch it belongs to, then the tree. Let your eyes keep opening out to include the shape of the tree in the space around it, the way it sits in the land, the other trees nearby, and the wider environment.
Then gently bring your attention back in again.
From the many trees, to the one tree, from the tree to the branch, from the branch back to the leaf.
Let your vision move between close and wide, between detail and whole.
As you look, you may begin to notice patterns — shapes repeating, lines echoing each other, light and shadow moving across surfaces, textures that feel familiar.
You might recognise something in what you are seeing.
The branching of a tree and the pathways in your body. The movement of sap and the movement of blood. The structure of wood and the structure of bone.
There is no need to analyse this. Just notice.
If you like, take a photo. Not to make something good, but to mark that you paused and saw.
Over time, this becomes less about what you are looking at and more about how you are seeing.
A small shift in attention. A different way of meeting what is already here.
